The only other thing to check is floorpan rust around the rear seatbelt mounting points. A ton of them have been failed WOF over here in NZ because of this and it's a costly job to repair. The petrol ones go alright but are very thirsty.

I use Fram heavy duty ones and never had a prob, doesn't matter if the truck sits for weeks. Mine has two filters the same, some have two different filters I think, one with a bypass valve built in.

TD42 Turbo Kits

Sorry, I know it's probably been done to death, but, what is the recommended, in peoples opinions, best turbo kit for a GQ? I'm not after all out power but low down torque is more important. Bushed or roller bearing turbo? Keep in mind I'm after a complete bolt on kit, AXT, Denco etc.

Inconsistancy was the main fault I have heard with Hiflo injectors, every injector is different. Mate put a set in his Hi-Lux and it ran worse, crack pressures were all over the place and miles from what they should of been.

brad-chevlux is right, I'd rather the drag link bend than break other stuff, and yes, I have seen the knuckle where the tie-rod end goes in on the swivel hub break clean off, when that happens you ain't goin nowhere fast, at least if you bend the drasglink or tie rod it's an easy fix to straighten ...

Sound's like an aircleaner indicator, a red piece shows in the clear part when the filter is dirty and clogged, I've never seen one on a TD42, at least not from the factory.

O/D or no lockup??? If no lockup it a common as fault, well at least it is over here. There is a temp sensor in the trans that won't let lockup occur till the trans temp is up. Bad news, the sensor is part of the wiring and is expensive to replace, good news, most places that know of it simply ...

I wouldnt be concerned with the different readings, Id be very suprised to find a 4wd with exact readings either side. Those castor readings are a bit of a worry, negative castor is bad, but, the main worry is the difference between the two sides. I'd be looking for bent front end components to start with on the right hand side. The left hand side is about right as far as a 2" lift goes so two degree bushes would be ...

Whats everyone running? I'm running Donaldson ones in the standard housing but aren't to fussed on the amount of fine dust they miss, the engine side sometimes has very fine dust on the surface of the filter housing.

Trial and error really - Better to have a little more fuel than not enough.Too lean will equal a hotter engine.
