Re: Tight LSD or Lockright for GQ front??

The auto locker is hard to steer with the power applied. If you were running down the road in 4, coming up to a corner and felt it didn't want to turn into the corner, back off the power and it will turn into the corner like an unlocked centre. After awhile you'll get feeling the auto locker isn't ...

Interesting. I've been running the Chinese units in my GU headlights and driving lights, the beemer motorcycle headlights and it's drivivng lights and the missus' Beemer high and lows for approx the last 4-5 years without issues. The only thing I could say against them is the HID conversions I find ...

From memory when I did mine, the front axle shafts had to be shortened approx 5mm. The design of the GU against the GQ is a little different.

some companies do not reckon putting a turbo on engines with 250k + but i would just give it a compression test and make sure the motor is A1 .... They talk crap. That would mean you should pull your turbo off at 250K or rebuild the engine every 250K. These aren't Toyota engines do they realise ...

I have been told by the specialist who rebuilt my pump that it needs filtering down to 4 micron as the Nissan filter apparently does. The Delphi/Cav 296 filters for less than $7.00 do also. Baldwin I don't know. I was also told that the Ryco filters only filter to approx. 12-14 micron hence the ...

Apperently these filters block if using cheaper fuel filters, Ryco included.
The Nissan filters filter to 4 micron as this is what the Zexel pumps require.
The Delphi also is rated at 4 micron and alot cheaper than the Nissan filters.

Have seen some unknown brands very occasionally sell for roughly this figure.
But really for that figure your best bet is to check out say Ebay off season for a reputable brand.
I bought my little Engel in winter for $200.

I have a TB42 turbo with standard radiator and with temps being in the low forties lately it still did not go over half even with the aircon on.
I don't have a heat exchanger so maybe it is this restricting air flow.
My cooling system is all standard including fan.
