Has anybody fitted an airtank to their hilux yet? If so, what size tank have you used and where have you fitted it? I'm trying to work out at the moment where i can fit a decent size tank but i'm struggling to find a good position for it...

Cheers

Just a question for anyone that has done their own wiring for their mods. Where is a nice easy spot to take a switching wire from to run a relay for spotties and a compressor? Also has anyone used one of the ARB switches and wired up the illumination part of it as well? If so where did you run that ...

Hey HLX40L,

Awesome looking truck!!! I think you've made a lot of people jealous with that lift. If only it wasn't so pricey... :!:

Well done.

Hey Rich, Nice looking rig! I agree the Alpha canopy is a good canopy but I wouldn't call it great... I'm about to take it back to bluey's to get them to reseal mine as it has a few water leaks. I was also interested in getting side lift up windows but when i spoke to bluey's the other day they said ...

The 'snap lock' aluminium is called qubelock and i bought it from Capral Aluminium, they are on West Botany St Rockdale. It's cheap, about $20 for a six metre length and about $1 each for the plastic connectors. You can either get them to cut it for you or i just cut it with a mitre box and hacksaw ...

Rich, No plans as such for the drawers, but when i get a chance i'll take some photos to give you some ideas. I consider the drawers to be permanent, it would be a good couple of hours to remove them. Both my dad and my father-in-law have tray back utes so i'm not too concerned about not being able ...

Rich, The colour coding job on my canopy was a good job, I couldn't find any faults. I also get a fair bit of dust in the back, but I think that comes more from the gap at the tail gate rather than from the canopy seal. I do have a couple of small water leaks that I still have to get fixed. I made ...
