Anyone no the procedure to change the fluid on a 105 with ABS

100 series 1fz-fe 165kw
80 series 1fz-fe 158kw

the 100 series dont have a air flow meter they have a MAP sensor

The only problem when you wind up IFS 4bs the Rubber CV boots tend to split because they get pinched due to the increased angles of the drive shafts and CV joints dont last as long.

the 100 series 1fz-fe is slightly differant to the one in the 80 i.e no o2 sensor or dizzy.

can they install a o2 sensor in your exhaust.

How many ks do you get with gas injection and what size is your tank

i have some mickey thomson mtz on 100series not sure what road pressure to run them at , 40psi they still look a bit flat

i have had lpg on my 100series for 3 years with no problems.
if the lpg is set up correctly you should hardly notice the power differance.
and back fires are caused by incorrect mixture are dodgy leads.

when i had my origional gas system my air box went KA BOOM i found a diesel 100series air box at the wreckers.

all you need to do is on the lid drilla hole for the air temp probe and block a hole on the otherside with a grommet and silastic

if your lpg system is backfiring there is a problem simple as that either its running to lean or its a ignition problem,a faulty lead or spark plug .
LPG needs a good spark its harder to ignite than petrol .
My 100series has a gasresearch lpg throttle body on it not one backfire it goes just as hard ...

i have a 2002 105series and i love it the 4.5 auto on gas is awsome heaps of power.

i have a 3inch lift 285 muddies no lockers and it goes pretty much every where and just as far as most of friends rigs that have lockers.

80series are getting to old and are way over priced

those IFS front are certainly waek as piss a mate of mine blew his a few months back.

With IFS trucks when you crank up torsion bars it puts the CVs at extreme axels which causes prematutre wear.

Snake racing cell a kit that braces the lower wish bones and spaces the fron diff down 30mm i think so you can wind up the torsion bars and the axels will be ok

you loose ABS because the sensors realy on the axels spinning , thats how they detect when you lock a wheel up.

That why i never bothered doing the conversion on my 100series because of the abs.

The only benefite is less drive line wear or if you want to run a autolocker in the front .

My 4.5 100 series does the same , when you select low range the Centre diff locks automaticly.
In hi range you can turn it off or on Via the button on the dash

I have the old venturi system on mine with a 90 litre usable tank i get around 370ks around town.

does anyone know if you can change the timing on a 1fz-fe for LPG and be able to switch it back for petrol , with out spending a fortune on after market ECU's

my mate had the same problem on his 80 petrol/lpg , the cause was that the intake pipe from the air cleaner to the throttle body was split.
he had his 80 back to the gas dude about 4 times and the clowns did not pick it up

does the 1fz-fe have a timing belt or chain

all fixed was just a blown globe

i did take the button out and put the meter on it seemed allright might just be the globe in the dash i have had the dash out once its a shit of a job. might try and replace the globe and spray some contact cleaner down the switch
