well the water pump has some play, but decided to go the whole hog.. will replace the water pump (bearing if possible) put a timing kit in, replace the front seal (its got a slow weap)..
then worry about other bits.. its got 360k on it so who knows when the last time the timing belt was done..

LN106 3L - whirring noise..
I may be imagining it, but im sure i have started hearing a whirring noise from the motor, especially when cold. i took off the PS and AC belts and its still there i also just noticed that the oil pressure light doesnt light up when the ignition is on either (i have had the vehicle for nearly 12 ...
