The cross member mounts are different between auto and manual 60 series, as are the tailshafts. The simple way will be to replace it with another auto box. Technically the auto is a better transmission than the manuals in the 60 series anyway. hey oldmate, how so? the manual boxes are fairly ...

yep its the engine mount!

mine was doing this a few months ago, was driving me insane!!
I was told to check the engine mounts, sure enough 2 were stuffed, replaced them, havent had a problem since.

easy to do aswell...

the other thing is the length of the pto shafts, although these can be made to length if required. shorty_f0rty, were do ya reckon i could get one made? Im needing the last shaft, (u-joint one end and splined on the other) shortened by about 100mm. I built a new bumper for my 60 thats got the PTO ...

iv read as much as i can on this site about lifts and everyone who has had ironman susp seems to be against it and needing to upgrade after 12ish months.. i am in the same situation as yourself, need a good set of suspension with decent lift and not have to sell my soul to pay for it! has anyone run ...

as i understand it

western australian law prevents spring over conversions and extended shackles!?!

is this correct? can anyone give me a run down of the law/s pertaining to 4wd suspension, lift etc. or point me to a website that will.. i looked and couldnt find anything..
