So your saying my only option is the Mitsubishi steel bar?
Looks that way.

AFAIK, it's a legal requirement to have a washer on HID headlights.

Re: 2010 Challenger XLS - Bullbar

Does the XLS model have the HID headlights?
If so, you can't go without the washers.

MN Triton Grill removal

So... I managed to pick up some nice Narva driving lights for cheap. :) Now I need to replace the tiny hellas I have on the front of the Triton. Antone know how the grill comes off so I can get to the wiring? Edit: So I managed to figure it out - once you get the plastic lock bolts off the top of ...

Which to get? BT-50/triton/ranger?

I've managed to track down a couple of 2nd hand 4x4 utes in my price range, 07 cab-chassis models of the Triton GLX, BT-50 DX and ford Ranger XL. I'm having trouble deciding which one I should get.... Anyone have experience with all three? Know of any pros/cons of each? Any advice would be ...

high KM's on used toyotas

Hi All. have been thinking of upgrading my Zook, and getting a hilux. Have managed to find a fairly cheap one (older v6 4-runner), but it has high K's - ~280K km Looks to be stock, so probably mostly city miles. I know Toyotas have a reputation for being near indestructable, so how critical are KM's ...

Stupid Q about gearbox windup

Hi All. This is probably a stupid question, but here goes... My vitara is a little lively in the wet - I have very little traction in the back which can be fun, can also be a bit scary at times. (Might it be a case of having cheap A$$ tires?) Am I likely to end up killing my gearbox/transfer case if ...

Vitara Fiberglass tops

I Was driving along the freeway the other day and saw a Vitara with what looked like a fiberglass canopy replacing the soft-top.

Anyone know where I can get one?
How much they cost?

I recon one might be a good investment with winter comming....

Tried taking the hubs apart this morning. Unfortunatly, it looks like someone else has tried to do this before me and F&$%ed the grub screws holding the top plate on. :x So the easiest option might be to just replace them. Will the locking hubs from a sierra fit? or do they have a different spline ...

Thanks for that.

I have front driveshafts, and they do turn. So it must be the locking rings.

First thing tommorow I will rip the hubs off and give them a quick lube.

Hopefully this will sort the problem. :)

Thanks again.

No 4x4. Broken Hubs?

Hi All. Long time lurker, First time poster... I've finally gone out and gotten me a bright red '93 Vitara soft top, and was looking forward to putting the little machine through it's paces on some boggy ground. Nice thought at least..... I have a suspicion that my front hubs are not engaging, hence ...
