The fairlead protrusion , the eye bolts, the lack of guard over tyres.

I would choose a GU petrol but only on gas, it's a better engine off road and onroad than anything else that came out in those cars and it tows well too.

There is no black magic surrounding the fuel screw, turn it up too far and EGTs 'can' increase. turn it down too far and car is so slow it's a dog. Get a manual box out of a GQ later than 1994, I've heard that these ones shift a lot better at high revs than the ones before 1994. Maybe someone else can confirm this. Actually I suspect it is T25 but cannot say for sure, I have 3 turbo here with external waste gates an they each seen to have differing stud distances, I should measure them again.
