Thanks for the replys guys, my mate took it to the mechanic's last week and apparently it had a cracked idle (or similar adjustment screw, mate wasn't sure :roll: ) and was causing it to run cold start mode ;) As far as i know its been running better now, havent spoken to him though for a week or so ...

Check the coolant temp sensor readings, and IAT sensor readings
How would this be checked, im presuming by a dealer :? Also a lot of dollars in it too?

I was looking at OME for my rodeo and ended up going with TJM XGS, feature wise they were almost identical as well as spec wise, TJM guarenteed 50mm lift as well, OME didn't :? They were also cheaper :lol:

Well had a TJM XGS suspension kit put through my 02 Rodeo dual cab yesterday, difference is amazing! :cool: Handles like a race car now! Stability is brilliant, and the ride is much improved, its still a firm ride but its a LOT smoother Plus i got an extra 60mm at the front with has given me alot ...

Well its been ordered and will be fitted up on wednesday.

I went for TJM's XGS suspension, $1500 new shocks, springs, torsion bars, shackles etc, plus a wheel alignment. Will also give it a 2" lift :cool:

I had a look through my manual and it states 20w-50 :x :x I will be having a few words with the dealer next week as i have it booked in for the 100k service. The dealer is actually a ford dealer which makes it worse :cry: :cry: Plus the fact im forking out about $700 for the service :shock: Andrew

Thanks Sudso, they were my thoughts exactly. :x Could this be causing the oil loss, i.e oil is too thin and burning/evaporating away??

Ill be making mention to the mechanics at the next sevice about it :roll:
