Gday Grinch, Well I am no mechanic, but did mine easy, just like a mechano set, nuts and bolts really, once on the bench, bearing puller, Press, Perfect mate!! Shouldnt have any trouble, I have the 5 speed Supplement if you need any diagrams or the 4 speed too. The hardest bit was gettin it back in ...

Took my 5 speed out of MK 2 weeks ago, with Engine hoist through Drivers Cab, with a rope around the Box, no worries mate, just work safe, I would not recommend using Trolley Jacks!!!!! Thanks for the info guys, I'm in Adelaide, actually I thought I would fabricate a cradle from 1" RHS Tubing, so it will keep straight and fix it to a Trolley Jack. and like you say a Jack under the engine with a block of wood a good idea. I will have to give it all a bit of thought just the same ...
