the radiators were changed in the flat trays when the intercooled 4.2 was released about 03 my 04 model has the same type of radiator that you describe

There is plenty of room by the b pillar bit tight by the centre console but still move easily lifted the rear of the seats for better vision over the bonnet

i have airbags front and rear in my gu tray have found them excellent for comps and touring all are individually ajustable from in cab airbags were allready in car when purchased but set up all the in cab ajustment myself not hard truck has done 25,000km with no problems including a trip to cape ...
