Do a bit of research on the NEW T/D Hilux man. I'm sure i saw them on sale for about $31k. The benifits over the older Hilux's are well worth it in every aspect. Of course that's if u can stretch your budget that far. It is only around (approx) seven grand more than what your looking at atm. Just ...

I am planning to replace my Toyota head unit with my sony unit and also a UHF unit sometime in the future. I would imagine u should be able to buy a fascia plate so that there are no gaps when fitting aftermarket head units into your Lux's. I have bought plates for cars i have owned previously which ...

Yeah but that's not a fuel increase.

I would believe that most chips available would offer more power and better fuel ecconomy ... i wonder how they achieve that?

Would be ideal to find out exactly what oil they use, from what I've heard it's very difficult to get... with these newer technology motors, is it really important to change at every 5,000 kms though? I heard from someone, something about the new common rail injectors are cleaner burning; therefore ...

I personally wouldn't do it yourself unless you can find their "special oil" that they use. Why are you servicing every 5,000 when the D4D has a 10,000 service interval anyways? It also stuffs up your warranty if you don't get the 10,000 service stamped into the book by a registered machanic. Yep ...
