Good luck mate. I have heard some bad stories about getting a new key. I had the '97 XJ and when the key went tits up, I just used the kiy in the door. I know you can get an after market one for the central locking, but the Jeep one will cost you. Most alarms now lock and unlock the doors by remote.

Since at least as early as World War I, the U.S. Army had been looking for a fast, lightweight all-terrain reconnaissance vehicle. In early 1940, however, things became urgent as the Axis powers began to score victories in Europe and Northern Africa and there became the need to rapidly develop a new ...

As quoted from your site. Historians seem not certain who invented four wheel drive.

Must make you think about it. Was it a 4WD to go bush and do the type of driving a 4WD of today or even of 1942 would do? Or was is a AWD?

Too flip the bird back at ya would be a waste!

Like all mags, they are only as good as the stories/write ups that we, Jeepers, write for them. Plus the work they do to get it up and running. I like the reports and items by the clubs. Some great trip reports.
