i recently purchased a diesel 96 hilux, and the tacho is shitting me up the wall so i want to fix it, my tacho reads 3000rpm or so higher lol, on idle the tacho reads 3000rpm and goes up from there, im not sure where it gets signal from, but the previous owner said it done it ever since the ...

who will do the trianglated 4link with coils for $1600 ???

or can anyone recommend somewhere cheap to take my truck too? i dont want to pay an arm and a leg for a setup as its just to tow my bike around and do a bit of playing on some weekends. so a backyarder with a great hilux knowledge would be good lol..

ordering my lift kit for my swb, and need to know how much more a vn v8 weighs over the standard petrol 4.2 ? ???

as mine has a v8 conversion and want it to sit level and order the correct front spring for it.

he recommend 1.6 with my 1.3 head, this a good conversion??

can anyone recommend a good zook shop or mechanical center who specailize's in zooks ? in melb please.

its a 1985 zook, would be happy with some chunky 30" muddys, on some sunraysia's ??? it will be getting a 2" spring and body lift in the future, and also gears/engine conversion... but for now just want it to look a little tuffer, what sunraysia's fit?

just brought a seirra, i want to put some 30 or 31' rims on it, with some mud tyres, what will bolt straight on and be fine ??

i fitted the longer rear arms, made a slight difference but still plenty of vibration, so double cardion it is

i havw just been told, 16mm longer lower arms ?

money is not really the issue i just want it right and dont want any dramas when 4x4ing, i can get a double cardion shaft made for 200, is that fixing the problem or masking it tho ?

i fitted some 3" lwb springs to my swb patrol, so its about 3-5-4" lift all up, and i am getting bad tail shaft vibrations ?? i tried spacing the auto down 10 and 20mm, it got better but still there... what are my options ?

someone has fitted a new tank to my swb at some stage by the looks of it, and i put $30 fuel in it, and it still reads below empty ? it seems to get around the quarter mark and just drop? anyone had this drama before? can u tell me how many ohms the gauge is ? i am thinking about a uni versal sender ?

do i space the mount from the chassis or auto from the mount

i have a swb gq auto, i am fittign 3" spring lift and 2" body lift, will i need gearbox spacers? can i make them myself? do i space it down 3"s ? just under the mount with a longer bolt? anything else i need to do

i have just got my first swb, had a few lwb's, but this is my first automatic gq, what are the do's and donts? how do they perform? etc.

i sold all my gq's a while ago, and just brought a surf manily cos it was dirt cheap, its 2.4 td and auto, now what are my first mods? how do i riase it? how cheap is it? what is the max size tyres i can run without it going too slow? what year model hilux parts fit it ?
