Re: Bru's Iveco Daily 4x4 Alloy Wheel Pics up now!

I think they will look a whole lot better on the iveco, being that the front "large" bumper is black as well as the trims could a mat black be a better option- sort of match the mirrors etc rather than the gloss, but still appeal to the market wanting machined and black? have you got a stand at the ...

That d8 is a lgp dozer, it is a special build, made to order by CAT We also have d6 and a new d7 electric swampies Will confirm the width of the ground plates tomorrow There wouldn't be too many in Australia of that size due to specialised use, pushing slurry sand Compare the photo of the d8 on the ...

Re: Bru's Iveco Daily 4x4 Alloy Wheel Pics up now!

love the rims 4wd26 age 40 as pictured (guessing graphite machined) for a silver iveco- shame the colour choice in the Iveco range is so limited (my first choice) maybe black machined on a white or Panama Yellow another thing that I would be interested in would be a central tire inflation system to ...

vehicles to base on.....

Rather than clog up Bru's build thread I thought I would start another. Where I work we have access to some pretty unusual vehicles due to the environment we work- namely sand and lots of it. This is not your usual flat beach sand but rolling hills of the stuff. An assortment of vehicles that passed ...

Re: Bru's Iveco Daily 4x4 based Expedition Vehicle

Not sure if it's yours 4WD26 but that front bar looks wrong. In my unqualified opinion the tube needs to be an inch thicker and the design could be a bit nicer on the eye too. not mine- just one I found on the net in answer to another guys question- mind you I havn't seen a nice bar on these yet ...

Re: Bru's Iveco Daily 4x4 based Expedition Vehicle

looking forward to some news on the alloys dealing direct with Iveco should enable you to fit the 37" tyres without the speed rating in the ECU being dropped? I'm really looking at one of these with a camping box on the dual cab and still tow the offroad van- as such I don't want the rear ...

Re: PA Challenger Diff ratio options

4.1 is the ML triton standard ratio, this vehicle runs the 9.5" rear diff.

BUT we have been able to successfully fit the 4.1 ratio into the 9" diff (usually 3.9 in the MN triton)

I know its on another forum- but a guy in sydney is selling a 9.5" diff out of a ML triton that has a factory locker. http://www.newtriton.net/phpbb/viewtopic.php?f=30&t=11371 you might have to sign in to the forum $1000 but it is low kms. you will have to use your 4.6 crown and pinion (as the ...

Will it matter if the challenger is an older model?
Looking at the dash pics I would think early 2000's, trying to fit up this to the ML triton which is a newer generation (and would not share the chassis with the older challenger)

Well I have driven on the new MTR's today. They are quieter than the MTZ's engine noise is louder than the tyres and they also don't exhibit the "blockiness" where you feel each tread block at low speeds. They do "growl" a bit like the MTZ's did all the time when pushed hard into a low speed corner ...

I know what your saying about size but i thought it would be good for other things as well as being just a gps system. I have found another one that's smaller it has a 10" touch screen. Also turns into a tablet so wouldn't take up as much space with the keyboard. http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI ...

I think you'll fint the 32" tyres a good comprimise. I run 33" tyres on my import with 4.9 diffs and 2" suspension lift. It goes alright once the turbo comes on but uses a $hitload of fuel. Yep,
Unless your getting rub from your tyres I would be hesitant to raise the body.

some body protection (sills) and better approach and departure angles would be better for the stability of the vehicle as well as allowing you to 4wd off road.

genuine only- and thus expensive.

You can retro fit an Australian air filter box, as there are some aftermarket options for these, depends on how much the surround costs.
