most of the wires are utilising actual vn commodore wiring colors so as to match up to the factory loom .

fuel injection - ie computer high pressure fuel pump and lines and wiring loom etc - also in a lux they tend to be thirsty so would look at dual fuelling it .
Marks adaptors have a wiring adaptor loom for em . mines an 84 dual cab and has heaps of go with just an old vn series one engine and auto.

ive got a vibration the same as you in my ln65 with a commo v6 and auto , once i get to 100 or over it vibrates then is worse when i release the go pedal back until about 90 . replaced the unis and still vibrating , next i suppose will get the diffs looked at . i tried pulling the rear tailshaft out...

have you been playin in mud lately?
if so check your radiator isnt clogged - my 2h was iverheating on hills , checked the rad and half of it was a solid mass so no air was getting through . just an idea

i had the same problem but mine was intermittant - tacho attaches to bellhousing on passenger side - connection often comes loose try tighhtening it up -threaded-

Just wondering if anyone else has had the problem that the stock hj60 tacho only works when it feels like it , ive had the dash out numerous times testing connections and earths but cant rectify the problem .

yeah same same - running 33" JT2's and you notice the gutlessness on hills a bit more and fuel consumption has gone up a little but when you hit the mud/bush it really helps to clear the giant front diff under the 60's . i used to bottom out on it regularly - now lookin at possibly 35"s - ...

It may explain the excess smoke you get when going downhill as well if there is a hole in the diaphragm - either that or your right foot has gained a few pounds . hehe :twisted:

i recent;y did mine and if all else fails just pull the pinch strip off the back of the roof trim and the hose is just inside there in the back roof crosspanel . that way you dont need to pull much trim down . then when finished just fold it back over the lip and use the pinch strip to hold it there...
