Re: Found this in my rear airlocked diff
The hole in the middle should have 12 points. The head of the bolt has 12 points. The clip taps over the head of the bolt and prevents it from turning because the "wings" will hit the hemisphere. It's not uncommon for them to fall off. Poor design. As a general rule we clean the bolts heads with ...

Re: 6.0l or 5.7l?
To DOD or not to DOD..... that is the question!
If you don't DOD then you Do don't dod but if you do dod the you do dont not dod. dodding is ok if you don't want to undod but if your not wanting dod then you must get non dod. if the dod is there it can be ignored unless you need to un dod.

Badmav is correct. The detroit allows one wheel to overun the other but not be driven faster.

Re: warn 9500xp vs tigerz11 10000
We sell both Tigerz11 and warn winches. Value for money it's hard to go past tigerz11. As for the aldi special, Paul from tigerz11 has spent a considerable amount of time in china, at the factory developing the winch and ironing out issues that arise over time to the point where i think we finally ...

Re: 2010 Cliffhanger DVD and others OUT NOW!!!!!!!!!
Watched the DVD on the weekend...
Sorry to say i think it was the worst cliffhanger DVD so far.
The narration was quite poor and infrequent.
There were no results other than 1st or 2nd..
Some lengthy, boring footage in places...
I didn't think it reflected the event very good unfortunately.

Re: external wastegate positioning
I would agree, sounds like too much fuel. I had the wastegate wired shut on my 1HD-T, peak boost changed from 15psi to anything from 18psi up to 22psi just by changing fuel settings, when it was producing 22psi, EGTs would climb extremely quickly So you had a waste gate issue.. not a fuel issue! He ...

I'd spend the dollars on getting the head done.. Low k imports are getting rarer but then i haven't looked for one lately. Once the head is off you'll have a bit of an idea of the bottom end. If you've looked after it service wise then 300 odd thou isn't too bad.. may just have quite a bit of life ...

Either would suitable. MN's still have a bit of a shortage of aftermarket accessories due to there relatively recent release although it's getting better every day.
Personally i'd take the triton, only because i like the ergonomics better.

Re: school me on tubes
Simex do make a tyre tube that is stronger and thicker than most others on the market. HOWEVER.. If the side wall of the tyre is damaged right through then the tube alone will NOT be enough to make using the tyre a sensible option. Ultimately you'll need to get the sidewall vulcanised (which does ...

Re: Help - my Raider isn't working :-(
Sounds very much like a faulty fuel pump. Being an EFI pump itcan have good flow with low pressure so you really need and EFI fuel gauge to check the pressure. If there is no fuel at all coming through then check if there is power to the fuel pump when cranking. If there is power then definitely a ...

I can't see why you would go to the trouble of buying a ferret and a gauge when the currie does both jobs.
if you already have a gauge and just want a deflator then the ferret is as good as a stick!
