what sort of fuel usage you get with 350 holley. My WW2 to 4.4 LT95 33 std diff, I think it runs around 2,500rpm at 100. I seem to be getting about 20ltrs per hundred if I'm real carfull. Runs good on all but the steepest slopes. I got the aclerator link on the centre and was actually thinking of ...

When I get a chance, I may build a jig and compress the boge unit in a press, to measure the stroke. The jig will make this a safe experiment.

At the moment apart from a little less ride height, I can't tell any differance.

I have a few other projects on the go, so don't hold your breath.

I've left mine out, seems to have dropped about 5 to 10mm.
I've undone the big lower nut on the and cleaned it filled it with mastic, and screwed it back on. Latter if change my mind, I can reinstall. The removal is reversable.

I have same same. Just get it to a good Landrover mech, get them to give it a check over, and tune. Mine had vacum leaks on the hoses. Advance was not working, simple fix, timing out, easy fix, adjusted the carbies, not that easy, but made a difference. The 3 speed is a slug, and worse with bigger ...

I agree, Best I could find on the web site was, no more than 1/3 on bump stop, but this was lowing or lifting, nothing on springs. My mech told me 100mm all up either tyres, and body lift up to 50mm and suspension, but only 2 off these not all 3. With my rangie I have 30mm body, gone up to 31.5 ...

I guess a Air Ram would work but it would need a decent shaft size some thing like the boge unit, and it would need to be at least the same diameter as the boge or it would not enough force, I think even a second hand unit would be pricey, that why I was thinking bout modifing the boge.. Though I ...

Rear Boge Unit Mods

I've seen a few threads, suggesting the removal of the unit, but I was wondering. If I lower the top mount to suit the suspension lift, and then modify the unit to accept 2 airline inputs, 1 at the bottom, 1 at the top. Could the unit be then used as a kinda air height adjuster. Adjust up when doing ...

Can't find the thread?

Is there just one set or has he got a production line happing.

I was thinking if I go a better donk, say 4.4 or around that the the 3 speed could stay, cause it would have the power to run the torque flight.

Engine upgrade

I have a slightly worn 3.5 carby with a 3 speed auto. What is a good upgrade that gives good driveabilty without too much power. I'm told that if I go say 4.0ltr and 4speed zf with the transfer case to suit the ZF, this would be a good converstion without straining the rest of the drive line. Or ...

Correct a suslift may not help, but if you lower the shock mounts and then lengthen bump stops you can have downward artic, without rubbing, but it still helps to have the whole lot, 2"lift and the body lift of 30mm. Unless you drive around without recover gear, and drive only on softroader tracks.

235/85 16 MTR Hancooks Needed a 2" suspension lift, mostly becaue the back tyres would get cut as soon as I hit a bump. Inner guard trimmig will help but, you really need a body lift of at least 30mm and 50mm suspension lift. Then if you need to go bigger again you need to trim the outer guards and ...

ARB Bar to Winch bar - clues

I've got myself a ARB STD bar to suit my 85 Rangie. I need to mod it to fit a winch and the body lift. I can work off photo's for the front gussets, but it would help if I had a photo or know how the winch plate was mounted. Is the winch plate welded in postion or is it bolted, is it 5mm thick or ...
