I use Stabil. It is awesome stuff.

It snapped the odd automotive grade bolt before I got the hang of it. But then it will also undo some big ass nuts/bolts on fine threads, think Jag front spindle bearing nut or RR wheel bearing nuts :D It cost me $899 in a kit with their 18V 1/2" drill, charger and two batteries, best money I ever ...

Most of the cheap scanners are fairly useless unless you just want to read generic codes. Most manufacturers use generic & make specific codes. This make things interesting. By "euro" do you mean BMW by any chance? These can be a PITA. Find a reputable place with a quality scan tool & get them to ...

Re: 2 vehicles blowing smoke after a bog hole
Check that the oil hasn't been contaminated. I've seen grooves worn in crank pulleys where the engine was left running in bog holes, which then filled the sump with muddy water, which is then pumped through the engine and wears everything in the engine, so low oil pressure and smoke. ^^ This is ...

Was it running ok previously? If so it's more than likely a blockage somewhere or fuel pressure is too high (About 3 psi is fine). Hi All, It's my first time in the Rover section. You guys are a little left of centre ;) Anyhow, to my question for the rover gurus. A friend has a Disco 2 V8 on gas. Subaru uses them in MY10 onwards Liberty and Outback and the new Impreza will have one aswell. They are a bit different as they run a torque converter. No servicing of the box. Oil for life :? I think by the time you figured out adequate fixing for a net, it would be simpler to use a proper rigid barrier they are made model specific, mountings are designed to take shock loads, they are easily removed and reinstalled as needed. Basically sometimes done all the figuring out already ...

Get a used flywheel and lighten the shit out of it. Because the face of the flywheel isn't used as a friction surface you could bore large diameter holes evenly around it. Take care not to weaken it to much as an exploding flywheel is not Fawking funny. You will have to have it balanced after this ...

A very important thing that has been missed is in the case of say a bearing going onto a shaft you need to "ONLY" be hitting the inner race, the opposite if bearing is being knocked into a bore or housing - the outer race only. Many bearings have been fubar'd due to dolly, punch, etc being ...

If the ECU got wet, there is a good chance you have let the smoke out! Pull it out, open the case ( be careful not to touch the internals) and let it dry in the sun for a few hours. Put it back together and install back in the truck. If still no spark, ECU is toast! Sometimes ECU's can be repaired ...
