I put a 78° thermostat in my feroza. It hepled a lot. 5% is not a problem, 500 km driven and odo 480, but 570 driven and odo 360, that is my problem.

But speedometer is fine. It shows the same as GPS (maybe 1 or 2km/h difference), but the kilometer counter is showing wrong. Instead of 570km it shows 360km.

Last weekend i was on trip. I drove only 90km/h on highway, 60 to 80km/h on other roads, 40km of trip was offroad. On map and GPS i was driven for 570km, but car shows only 360 driven. Speed shown on speedometer was/is the same as speed on GPS - that is tested with 3 different GPSes. What is wrong ...

I would like to have fulltime 4x4 with low gears. Which transfer case will be god for feroza and 1.6 liter engine?

I tryed yesterday and feroza is now a litle bit higher on the back, but not that much that i wanted.

My thoughts- substandard cooling system. Not that those thoughts help you much. I'd try replacing the thermostat with a GENUINE item, don't waste your time trying aftermarket units (I tried two different brands and neither worked.) Those things at headlights are automatic setting of lights height. There is a place (a hole) on dashboard for potentioneter that sets the height of lights. It is at the same height as the thing that open bonnet , but on oposite side of steering wheel.

In europe, there isn't a much of old hilux and the price for allmoust destroyed hilux year 1993 is 5500 EUR, a good feroza the same year is 1600 EUR, excellent feroza year 1996 with air conditioner is 3600EUR.

K&S tuning from germany - yes, but you must send them your diff and they upgrade it for 890 EUR (1550 AUD/1220USD).

Here in our contry the part time were sold to 1995, all ferozas from 1995 to 1997 are fulltime.

I havent seen any auto gearbox here in our country, only 5 speed manual.

I have feroza with low gears, but friend of mine is askin if this is possible and i can not know, so i ask this queation.

The answer is no and end of debate - he must buy a gearbox with low gears and replace his fulltime gearbox.

Conputer from daihatsu charade 1.3(95PS) 4x4. Revs go then to 7.500 instead of 6.250 (stock feroza).
