Gday Steve,
Yeah that was the general idea... so the only difference is that the chassis is longer?
Cheers mate

vibration from transfer case shifter
I own a suzuki sierra jx. I am not sure what the problem is, but when I drive at high revs (2500 and over) the transfer case level in the cab rattles increasingly until you put your foot on the clutch, whence it stops immediately. The car cannot go faster than 50k's an hour without sever vibration ...

Ive had this happen to me once. The new starter motor which I got from revolution couldnt accomadate the bolts which are suppost to bolt to the engine. The original 1.3 starter did have a hollow circular section cut which allowed the bolts to bit properly... What I ended up doing was mix matching ...

Ideal engine coolant temperature?
Hi,
Ive just got a question, which was instigated when I observed the new temperature gauge in my sierra...
The gauge is from 40 deg C to 120 deg C
Is it true that driving in town, the thermofan has a positive effect on cooling the radiator (i.e. lowers temp), while on the open road the fan ...

Thermofan problem...
Gday
Ive just got a question involving electric thermofans.
A few months back I bought a thermofan from the wreckers. Its seemed to be going good, until it started making a sqealing noise... My question is... is there any way to pull it out and grease it up or something, or is it better to go new ...

Clutch changing advice
Gday
I was just wondering what sort of method everyone uses when they change the clutch in a sierra... so far I can see two ways
1. Remove the gearbox
2. Remove the engine...
What do you find the easiest way to change your clutch...
Thanks

Gearbox oil ?
Hi,
Just about to refil my sierra gearbox with oil. I am not exactly sure which type to use.
A guy at repco told me to use Castrol VMX 80 or something... while another mechanic told me to use engine oil!
What do you people use, what works best for you. What should I avoid?
Cheers
