The chassis is basically the same from 1984 to 1996. Is your chassis the early or late style. If the chassis is from 1996 to 2005 you will have to do a lot of mods. The chassis will have to be from a duel cab or extra cab, not single cab as the have the tray mounts that would have to be removed to ...

id stick with the chev, holden or the lexus v8s as they have a tighter V the the ford motor and are either rear mounted dizzy or efi. i believe the autos a better too with loads of spairs and not to pricey. chev would be the smallest motor but is a tiny bite taller. this would make the fire wall ...

Ford V8's in Hilux?
Hi Guys.
I am looking for more information on fitting a 302 Winsor into a 94 Hilux, has anyone here have one?
I am suprised that not many are around as the Ford iV8s even smaller than a Chev/Holden/Toyota V8? Should fit better

Re: Squeaking noise inside cab, think its the speedo cable
Hi chaps. I have an intermittant noise that sounds like rubber squeaking, and it is related to vehicle speed, not engine rpm. Worst around the 40 to 70km/hr mark. It seems to be coming from around the trans tunnel shifter area. I took the dash out, and took a few mm off the end of the cable, as we ...
