heres a little thought.. I might be way off here but my girlfriends old man had a TD42 and he complained that it sounded like it ran on for a split second after he turned the key off. So i talked to a few older mechanics that had been buggering around with diesels for many years. They suggested adv...

Stu, I would look at rebuilding it to factory spec and then getting a trick fuel pump and a BB turbo and good intercooling. i think the hp gain you would get from this would make you happy. Mine has this done and is pumping 160rwkw and still has heaps more room for tunning. It is using around 16/17...

Adjustable panhard rod fitting

G'day guys
Anyone got any tips when I fit my adjustable panhards?
My plan is to use a ratchet tie down strap to get everything nice and central then throw her on, This sound good?
Will I need to adjust my steering arm and RTC dampener?
cheers

I think I'll just have to wait till I can sneak it past the missus and go the pro locker, cause there's no way I could justify to her the extra $1000 on top of the 4wd systems lokka

G'day I'm after a locker for the front of my mav, ultimately I'd love a TJM/ARB but there is no way the minister for war and finance will let my budget stretch that far. Has anyone come across the Aussie Locker? If so where do you get them from? I've read reviews on Piratw 4x4 and checked out their ...

you need to spend a heap on the TD to get it too move where the TB stock with a snorkel and a flowed exhaust still turn 35" enuf to drive it. My naturally aspirated TD turned 35's well enough, definately no speeed demon though, much nicer once the diff gears were done moves just as well as she...

Does anyone else run a 5" lift on a shorty? That could give me some dimensions of centre to centres of the trailing arms. I want to fine tune it before I go down the path of double cardin joints... When I bought my lower arms from cheesy he told me that for lifts of 4" plus he sells them ...

Mate you need a double cardin tail shaft as well as lengthening your trailing arms.
I get tailshaft vibration when I back off the juice witha 3" lift nothing that effects driving though
