found the problem -- the pinion shaft itself was worn -- new shaft new bearings and seal all fixed-- $350 later --

TIGHT TURNS
I agree totaly..... i was unable to make a few of the turns early on in stage 2/3 and was not able to get to the sections to have a decent go, it was very annoying becuase i would been able to drive the harder sections, just unable to get there, its as if they punishing people that dont have air loc...

I run 34 JT'S aswell and often go wheeling with mate's that run claw's/mtr's and found the difference is what pressure to run. radial claw's bag the sidwalls nicely at 18psi same goes with mtr's I run 9psi in the simex JT'S and they still dont bag as much as a radial tyre but mould nicely cut a long...
