Yes.Had the same problem with my 99 club cab.
I'm sure holes were drilled approx half way up the door.
I used the rubber sausage thingy that came with my locking kit removed
doors, drilled holes, feed wires(plus speaker wires).
Works out ok.

Maybe you could try triton? 1999 and above.
As they have the same running gear and body lines as challenger.
Triton are commercial vehicle so diff ratios are possible higher.

If so LPG runs better on advanced timing maybe thats the reason for the mod.All just looks very strange.

Dont know about the cam shaft sensor plates. On the crank sensor plate it should have 2 pins or pins holes aligning it to the belt drive gear. Maybe there was a mod done?
