I have been reading some of the olders posts and and seems some ser 2 discos around 2000 to 2002 did not have a centre diff lock. Are they still a full 4x4 ie via a viscous centre diff? Just bought a 100 series (6 cyl, petrol, auto) and want to use low range without locking the centre centre. Has anywone sussed this out

Am hoping to be able to interupt signal to TC when putting into low range but then have the option of engageing 4WD by the existing dash switch.
