I have a 97 challenger with a 4M40 TDI engine. I am wanting to replace the engine, but due to my location I am finding it difficult to find another one. I have however located a 4M40 normally aspirated engine off a Delica. Can anyone confirm to me whether this engine can be used and fitted with the ...

Thanks for the replies. To answer your question Daisy about the old engine. A piece of the timing chain sheared off and got into the crank shaft casing and did the damage. I replaced all the bearings but this only lasted about a month. Don't want to spend any more money on the old one, who knows ...
