thanks guys all good info, what tests can i do to check if its the valve springs?, and it does feel like as soon as it gets to 9 to 10 psi boost it just breaks down like internal rev limiter so the pertronix could be an issue.. will i have to upgrade the spark to stop it from blowing away?? my spark ...

hey guys that is all very handy to know thanks for the info.. i was looking into using a fuel injection system of an EA that is all ready to go onto the nissan motor and then throwing a turbo onto that setup..

i think i have to put in a mild cam..

is that maybe a more desirable option..

we got one for around 18,000 was good... got it in melbourne.. had 50,000k's

They are out there but make sure u do a police check on it's back ground cos we found one that looked ok and cheap but had been in an accident and the bloke got insurance and then fixed it himself cheaply to make a buck...

i run the 34" simex's and i had the same problem with me 86 model. it turned out to be the master brake cylinder was leaking pressure and there was no evidence of this eg: fluid leaks or air bubbles. i replaced it and is now good as new..

G'day fella's, i was after some info on a "do it yourself" cut and flare job on me 4 door rangie. i have a 5 in" lift already and i run the 34" J/T 2's simex's and they are cutting out my gaurds. is it an easy job and would it be advised to "do it yourself" ??? thanks Rangiedan..
