6 mm cable is what would run you can use a 50 amp anderson plug as for the switch in the dash i would run that through a relay as it will probly burn out the switch try and use a 40 amp circuit breaker that way you wont need to carry fuses for it or you blow a fuse and you lose all the food your ...

i have all types electric is good but find it hard to use when soldering in side a car i also have the gun shape one and i mainly use it heat shrink as i find it to big to hold and solder i have a blue point soldering iron with all attachment and use that the most bunnings have a good range of irons ...

there is a knack to peogram the turbo timer un plug the turbo timer and do it from there just take your time turning the key and if you have picked up the wrong door wire that can also be the problem
