Outer Limits 4x4 Board

Hey guys,

I've had a quick look in the bible and had a search but cant find anything about air bags in a GQ Y60?

It has a drivers air bag only. The air bag light is on on the dash board, I have replaced the air bag and the clock spring but the light is still on. any ideas?

Ok I have finally got my injection stuff. The wiring loom is COMPLETE as in it has everything to run a 8v TBI vitara. What I want to do is strip it down to just the essentials to run the injection in the 413. Does anyone one have any detailed instructions on how they had done it into their 413 as I ...

I have just purchased a vitara TBI setup with loom and ecu etc. I can't find anything in the bible apart from Rhetts mazda tbi thread and have done a search but also can't find anything (maybe it's just me :roll: ) Couple of questions how many sensors does it have? Eg. o2 sensor? AFM? Does anybody ...

I have a 1.6 carby on a 1.3. It seems to go ok...Dies a little bit on hills still but hey thats the nature of a carb. I'm pretty sure they are just bolt (mine was already on when i bought the motor) I also have Bosch 4 spark plugs that burn hotter to deal with the extra fuel. Sorry I can't help with ...

Definetly the answers I was looking for, cheers guys. At the moment i'm running a g13a with a 1600 carb and bosch 4 spark plugs. Seems to go ok but I want a bit more oomph. Also so much cheaper to buy just a block and fiddle round and put the 1300 head on it for better gains that a 1600 head ...

Ive been thinking about the pro's and con's of putting a g13a head on and g16 block....what are people's thoughts on doing this?

Hi all sorry for the dumb question!

I have just bought a 413 and the fuel gauge was working fine and then I filled it up and it stopped working??? it occasionally comes on but only goes to just under half way? any thoughts? PS the fuel tank is quite dented (not that it's going to get any better ...

Are 8v and 16v clutches the same? did a search....no results.

Hey Gwagen, I'm going for hilux diffs over a cruiser diff purely because it is unnecessary to have a diff that big (remember I'm only running a standard motor) I'm going for the hilux diff because I want as much clearance as possible under the diff (hilux is a hell of alot smaller than a cruiser ...

I had a bit more of a think about it and I think Hilux's or similar front and rear will be better because as you said they have a wider range of diff ratio's, this is especially good becuase as you probably know vitara's don't have the lowest gearing in the world haha. Seems like a strange thing to ask, but one day in the future I want to SAS my vitara. I was looking at using a vitara rear diff head (if it could be used to go frontwards) so that I have a lot of clearance under the diff head (as apposed to using something like hilux diffs) and then have maybe hilux ...
