$65 ebay cv's

G'day all
I've had $65 ebay cv's in my 110 for about 12 months now. Only turning 235/85 muds but can't complain at all about their performance. Have given them a fair work out. I figured I could afford to go through a few at $65 a set.

Yeah I havn't installed the snorkel yet and looking at it the snorkel goes on the right and will have to go through right beneath the aerial. I am sure to that when I spoke to arb about install costs (a bit scary for me hence diy job) they also tack extra on the price for "relocation of oe aerial ...

Radio aerials

G'day I am about to instal a snorkel to my td5 defender and rather than relocate the aerial was going to replace it with one that doesn't collapse down into the guard. I have looked in a couple of stores and typical sales staff have no clue about what they are selling. What is the reception like ...

Oil Changes

Does anyone know what the story is with the Td5 oil change as described in the owners manual. To quote "To prevent any possibility of air locks in the oil pump, it is recommended that filter renewal is carried out AFTER the engine oil has been changed." Now maybe I've missed something here, or quite ...

I'm running standard s1 disco steel rims so I should be able to get the wider tyre on, I just don't want to drastically effect my turning circle either, I am currently ranked worlds number four in the three point turn not sure if I want heaps more practice but then again you just have to love the ...

Tyre sizes

G'day all I am thinking of going from 235/85 R16 to 265/75 R16 for my next set of muddies, from what I can gather the tyre diameter should be more or less the same but the tyre itself will be a bit wider. Has any one else done this? Has it had any effect on steering etc? I have an '01 Fender with a ...

Defender Seats

I am still running the stock seats in my 2001 defender and they are not all that great for long trips, interested to know what other people have sourced and fitted.
Thanks
