I had a set on my work truck and hated them. They wore out quicker then any other tyre ive ever had, noisier and worse on road then swampers or simex's. It used to lock the front wheels up in the wet. Worst tyre ive had.

The problem with MAF airflow meters in 4wd applications is if you dunk it under water and happen to get moisture thru to the airflow meter your motor will probably see it as a fault and go into limp home mode.

Someone was asking about these a while back but has anyone come across the company in Adelaide that did a crank for stroking a TB 42. I was told it was out to 6 litre. I need more power and this sounds like the go.

There shouldnt be any voltage drop if you put an isolator in the main power cable to your winch solinoid box, and theres no way this would fry your motor???. Voltage drop is caused by cables that are too small run over too long a distance and crappy connections. Just make sure you use a good quality ...

Was talking to Sandy at AUS4WD about stroking a TB42 a while back but he couldn't track anything down. He mentioned some of the safari racing guys were using a 6 litre stroker TB42 a while back. Will ask around and let you know if I find anything.

All I did on mine was make an adaptor plate out of 3mm alluminium sheet. It bolts to the back of the radiator. You have to cutdown some of the plastic shroud thats on the thermos then screw it to the alluminium. Its a bit of messing around but works well. I just wired mine to come on with the ...

I got a 120 amp unit from the local auto elec. It was HQ holden mounting pattern. The only mod to fit it to the TB42 was cutting the bent section out of the adjustment bracket. Apart from that it bolts strait up.
