a mate of mine just finished putting a 3tg in his ta22 celica, and your right they bloody move.

spewing, he sold a different lica bout a month ago with an 18rg with twin sidieys for next to nothing as the body was farked. :x

Another thing to consider is that once oil and water mix and become milky. It will stay in the cooling system/ oil system for ages. You do really need to flush the system out a couple of times. We do it all the time at work good point coz the oil doesnt really look that bad just a bit of milk. and ...

Dude there were two 3y and one 4y motors on ebay last weekend. Maybe still on there now. They only wanted 400 and i think one had no reserve. yeah, got the head shaved and pressure tested and came back fine.
thats why im stumped

and as far as the gasket sealing correctly, it was put on by a mechanic friend who does it every day.

but you never know.

might have to take the head off again and have a look :x
