hey all just broke my winch cable and looking at replacing it with plasma rope just wounding was is the pros and cons with rope and wire,i do know wire is heavey and if you get a fray well it bloody hurts i also is plasma high maintenance or is that all bull sh#T any help would be good

Same thing happened to me about 12 month ago i broke the plastic slip ring inside i think it cost me about $8.50 for the part and about 4 hours to fix it but drain a little of the diff oil and see if there is any medal in there, good luck
