how loud is a 3'' straight through, no muffler, 16lb. boost on a 06gu ute?

in that, how agitated are the police going to be when they hear it?

have looked in the bibles..................

coil leaf ute

want to run 35s off road and 33s on road, 4-5'' lift

does fine with 33s on road - standard ratios

what reductions for transfer for standard or slightly better performance, but still usable with 33's?

and

what reductions in the diffs ...

as per title, what gears are needed in diffs to return to factory gearing when 35s are fitted to a HZJ79 ute?

I have a hilux with standard ratios in the diffs and arb air lockers front and rear.

I want to get 4.88s to run 35's.

Will my lockers be compatible with new ring and pinion gears or will i need new lockers too?

yeah mate, i have had it looked at a few times and i just dont see the need to replace it when it works fine.

My ifs lux on 33's makes a groaning noise when i am dry steering.

Dont know what it is. Works beautifully

I have a '99 3.0 diesel lux and i have busted my manifold. Apart from the clicking that pisses me off :x i dont know whether to replace it with another stocker, extractors onto standard ...

I was wondering if i should be worried about this.

I have 33x12.5 mickey thompson fc2s and today i was running my hand around the tire and was pricked by a small sharp piece of metal poking out of the carcass where i had ripped off a tread block.

Is this dangerous?

In the TOYOTA section at the moment there are pictures of an ifs dual cab almost exactly like mine with the 4'' and 2'' body lift. It will be very similar if not exactly the same as that one, and that one has 35's too.

it is called PROCOMP 4'' LIFT KIT FOR IFS HILUX.

doesnt matter what mods it has. They should be put in the soft roader class.

I am surprised that you can fit 35's with a 4'' lift booflux. I dont doubt it, i just didnt think it was possible. I bet they are mickey thompsons but :)

I often wonder what attention my lux will draw when i finally put the 8'' and 35's under it. :twisted:

I run 33's at the moment as daily drivers and have had a few police make good comments about them.

I still shit myself every time i get pulled over. But i still have the 16'' split rims and ...

I am keen, is there any more info on distance and time, etc.

When i bought it, it had bullbar, scrub bars and sidesteps, towbar, spotties, uhf and cd, ute liner, larger wheels and tires.
