Ok the easy,s why to tell you that a front mount is 100% better than a top mount is 1 TOP MOUNT when you are off road your speed is not that fast so where does hot air go up off the engine in to the intercooler and it make's the inlet air hotter then standard 2 FRONT MOUNT cold air in front hot air ...

don't know about gu but the biggest engine you can put in a gq is 5.8 lt for road use in qld and get appovered because i am doing it now hope that help's
