check the idler arm, mine did same.
if it is bent, it will hit-rub on the chassi rail.

starter motor?
my old nh did the similar, try giving it a light tap, if it starts after that,check the brush set in the back of the starter motor,they might want replacing.

sorry,i didn`t explain too well. i've had ute for 4 months ,only fitted airbags 31th (due too raving) .1st test was 2nd, 320 klm, round trip.
1250kilo plus tools
was curious if any body had anything to do with them.s'pos i'm
impatient . :oops:

lukes4x4 i had boss airbags (suspenion helpers) fitted to my 04 hilux dualcab, some out of town work i tow our plaster trailer with up to 1500 kilo of sheet. tools& accessories in back of ute,= arse down so know i air up to level up, let down when trailer empty.better ride! had over load springs WAY ...
