re suspension..

31 10.5 15's

+2 inch

stiff stiff springs..not sure on weight of them..

gas shockers..

corrected front and rear arms..


i am thginking i need better shockers..2 way ones to help the front from not lifting so quick on power.and..stiffer rears (maybe by using air lifter helper ...

ok..thanks for all your replys..much appreciated..all of you..

well found one of their weeknesses..the clutch carrier that also holds the inner gears wears where it holds the gears..the tourqe (i cant remember how to spell touque..bugger getting old!) from the drive gear forces the inner gears ...

People here don't play with LSD for LT95 for simple and obvious reasons.

no..just fustrated at finding no info..atleast proper hands on info ...

i have to keep the lt95 cos its the only manual box that will handle the power and torque..

you may be right about the neeed for front lsd..still wish to try out ceter lsd though..(cheaper option as i have one..(though no spec on it)

first i dont wish to lock up the center box completly..thats why am after info/experience on the lsd..am aware what happens if i do lock it up on the road..bad..

a front diff lsd would help..yes i would and maybe will come, but am after info on center lsd diff as i have one ...

hi..as above..fitted toyota 1uz-fe in my 1972 rangie, about to supercharge it...(manifold now made... :D )

but...i have a traction problem, (i need to keep the lt95 as anything else will tear itself to bits, and i have a few, including a real late excellent one..)the front wheels just spin up so ...

i run a sd33t (1bar+ boost,sod off intercooler,propane injection,straight though exhaust etc) with lt77 and lt230 with 1.003:1 gears,31 tyres..

its lovely, beats 3.9l v8 rangies...uprate the springs, iknow mines on coils,but a sorted series should be ok..dont know about your diffs though..

1uz toyota 4l v8 into 2 door rangie...i no its been done,but proberly not over here..needed info,what needs to be altered to make it fit??

will be mating to lt95 (as its a 72 2 door rangie and i need to keep as many original parts as poss to keep vehicle identity)

ok..sorry for ignorance here but dont own a nissan except for lots of sd33 engines which i run in my range rovers...

so i have a new project which again will be running sd33t, i have also this time the matching gearbox and transfer box...are they any good? better than land rover lt77 and lt230 ...

bu&&er..

found an old engine at back of yard..sd33 n/a..clutch pressure plate is for 9.5inch only..no way of getting anything bigger under it...looks like will have to get flywheel drilled to except larger pressure plate...

suppose i might as well then get a complete range rover clutch kit then ...

thanks...yes it has range rover 87 bell housing with adapter plate..bell housing modded to take sd33 24v starter where it should be as per nissan..

biggeset clutch plate i can get to fit rangie splines is 267mm(10.5inches) :cry:

this i expect this is what it has fitted at moment,but under sd33 n ...

sd33 clutch upgrade..

help needed..info..

have an 87 range rover fitted with sd33..and manual range rover 5 speed box.

now very much turboed and propaned up etc..

clutch cant take the torque, and trust bearing on way out..so time to change..before doing so need your advice..i expect(previous owner did engine ...

use the pulse output from alternator and fit aftermarket type..or ones that count injector pulses..there are plenty real good ones..

yeh i know...i have one..but i cant find anywhere to bolt it onto on my engine..( i am not stupid,it just dont seem to fit anywhere) .ie no holes on the dpc line up with any on the block etc...

really just after a description/pic of one bolted to engine so can see where to fit...(itching to try out ...
