mine to is a 3.0lt petrol, great on fuel great on road and offroad
not a lot of wind noise and no water leaks.
F**cking great on a hot day with all the roof down.
can get rear tarp and and ute conversion tarp made (getting mine done soon) $400. Im leaving the seats in the back just folded ...

when i went to grafton at xmas returned 10 to the 100
better than I ever expected, my vl only retured 9 to the 100
so 10 for a fourby is great 3.0 v6

I think sanblasting suface (as above) if the chromes ok you wont get paint to stick without some sort of major sanding or stripping sunnies are cheap

problem solved
turned out to be a cracked join on the circit board of the relay.
got it soldered up for $10.
down side :twisted: :twisted:
had to remove roof to get to motor and solinoid.
upside :lol: :lol: got to seal roof with windscreen sealer and now we have no more leaks.

a mate spent 1000 bucks getting his diff recoed (melbourne)
and now turns out his crown and pinion is fooked
costs 1300 bucks to buy 1 off mitubishi.
its a 2.8 disel manual diff ratio 4.9 (according to mistu) (4.88 according to the now unwanted diff guy)

have cranked it shut and open after blowing out the tracks and silcon spray etc still not working . Im moveing soon so will leave it alone untill settled .
Then i pullin the succer out, pullin it apart ,n fixin the :bad-words: thing before resealing the whole thing

there is a allen key thingy at the back (mid section betwwen front roof and rear roof) I'll try it out tomorrow.
I went to start ripping out the headlining at lunch time and after trying to shut the thing numerous times on the way to work,
Thought Id give it 1 more shot before rippin it apart, and ...

The interior headling of the softop (the bits that fold back inside) need the outer bindings replaced and as you slide it back it is interfearing with the opening mechanisume causing the roof to stop slideing
