More timing getting rid of turbo lag.. what a load of B.S.
Another turbochager option would be ford Xr6 turbo; has T3 base
but this would cost a lot more than import wreaker rx7 turbo

I find my GQ tows a lot better with the stabiliser bars on, ie sweeping corners. I have quick dis-conects

Has anyone done this? I can get one very cheap and was thinking it could be a good option. It is a complete kit. Dispite what you might read in ads, there are draw backs to water/air intercoolers. did you know they need a seperate radiator and waterpump to cool the water running thru them along ...

had a 2 inch lift with pro comp shocks. i found them to have firm valving which suited me (i live in hills and the 4b cornered well)
I went up in height 3 1/2 inch and when i pulled the pro comps out they were in perfect condition
I think they are good.

thanks fnqcairns, now i just gotta remember some of that! I do know on nissan RB series, sr20 etc.. You cannot use a pressurised shock for a steering dampener, unless you like driving in circles. It will expand and constantly push on the steering .

Aluminium has a better heat exchange rate than steel / brass radiator

I pulled everything apart the other day, and the Navara LSD i got is a oddball and wont go into my GQ front easily. What year Navara LSD did you use??

Have just fitted a navara rear lsd into the front of my gq. It is a straight bolt in. The spline and shaft size on the navara/pathfinder rear is listed as the same as a gu front, so should also be a easy swap. cheers. :cool: Looking at doing exactly the same to my 88 patrol. What is it like off ...
