Dont know where people are getting the "Jimny isnt selling thing from" i know well and true that they are, and yes the swift is selling better then the jimny and i challenge anyone to go out and see what the waiting list is for any diesel car and 4wd big or small which is why no carmakers are ...

I had the same problems with Suzuki over a tailshaft, basicaly they came up with every possible excuse they could of why not to fix it even a few lies. Stop dealing with the "warranty guy" he is useless, i emailed the top guy (not sure if he is the one for Qld) if it is and you need details PM me ...

ohh and yes its tooo much, the vitara should be a great 4x4, ive had sierra's and now a jimny, Short wheel base's are more fun, im sure some dont agree with the last statement :lol:

the fuseable link is next to the batt + looks like a wire and sometimes red and about an inch in lenth, you can rplace it with just wire (temporaraly only) if you have no electrical faults

Havnt checked mine yet but its only started making a clicking noise in the rear, still on the factory bearings, ill check and let you know if the axle falls out :oops:

good luck with suzuki they are hopeless to deal with at the best of times :twisted:

Robsjimny: it was the tailshaft but after all that with suzuki they had to fix it (have to say the wearst warranty department ever

other than that its going good, ive also lifted the suspension now, much better just need to align it, but thinking of selling it :?

good luck with suzuki, my experiances with them has been shocking warranty claim that took months with back and forth emails, all they did was come up with bulls@#t excuses of why not to fix it under warranty :x in the end i said that ide take it to VCAT and consumer affairs, then thay fixed it :lol:
