Re: WillowGlen 2014
Josh.
You will need to contact some local clubs and ask them if you were to join whether u can get a spot to compete within that club.
Alot of clubs have there regulars that compete but you won't know till u ask.
You join a club and compete under that club you have joined.

Im just gonna start building one in about 2 weeks with 1 3/4" 2.6 wall cds
I thought u couldn't have shs as a slider the a, b pillar hoop mounts to but I guess u can, a hilux competed at tt with one?

Do you check oil pickup screen every oil change?

I went from 3L to 5Le so i know a little.
What exactly do u have, not enough info to give info on.
Sounds like you have a ute with a 5Le and want to take the electronics off? Is that right.

Re: CCDA external roll cage rules
Building an internal cage for ccda spec is better and then have the nb pipe exo has if you get to bad a dent in the exo and its your only cagethey can stop you from competing until the piece is replaced
Do you mean if I only had a NB pipe exo? I'm gonna build both but the exo will be segmented ...

I dont have a v8 but assure u they don't last behind diesels, so it will not last behind a v8.
I wouldn't be loading it up too much or tramping it or you will be in trouble, and really you have a v8 as if you arnt gonna wanna give it a boot full.

Yeh if that's the case you will be fine getting 600km/tank. It's not that far between drinks up there but will just have to plan out the distances.
But the cape was great just August/sept when we went it was really really windy (easterlies) so the east coast was pretty much a write off.

I just recently did the best tracks the cape had to offer over about 4 weeks and had a ball
I did it in a 06 prado with a 4" lift and had a heap of clearance for the tracks up there.
With a 2" lift you will definitely do the cape and with some good tyres, should be able to go 32's- 33's on that ...
