g16a leaking coolant / & Timing belt help !!

hey i got the 1.6L 16v inj g16a in my sierra
yesterday it started leaking coolant out of where looks to be the back of the water pump,
is doing a water pump gasket on these hard or what?
anything i should know or need to get before i start ?
should i replace the water pump while im at it ?

i run a universal electric fuel pump that u pick up for about $80 from repco that feeds the surge tank and from the surge tank to the fuel rail i have a vl turbo pump, you can pick these pumps up for around $160, i got mine off ebay, as for the surge tank i found a bloke selling a 2L tank that was ...

nah bought the surge tank off ebay for $100, i was told to use one as otherwise u motor may die in the arse up hills because it needs its constant pressure to keep it running, so i thought it was a wise investment, plus its polished and it looks quite pretty in my engine bay :lol:

i have a
82 sierra swb was a 1L now with the g16b

my fuel tank is only taking 26L to fill and it starts spitting back out a me after i put about 17 in and i have to go real slow,
there is no visible dints and i cant remember hitting it,

any ideas why my tank has dropped in size??

i pulled that plug off and sure enough it runs like a dream, even when the thermo kicks in and the lights and radio are going still idles great

the transfer case has never made a vibration and without the jackshaft in there is no vibrations coming from the gearbox

my jack shaft is on a lean down to my transfer case like nearly maxed out, i know this will flog my unis out over time but that doesnt worry me, my concern is at a higher rpm my shaft gets a pretty bad vibration in it, can the shaft be rebalanced to suit the angle that it is on ??
