my turbo on my 2.8td is getting sad, gonna have to get it rebuilt? is it worth rebuilding ?

what are my options ?
will a 3.0l turbo fit ?
any ideas that isnt going to cost me to much?

hey i got the 1.6L 16v inj g16a in my sierra
yesterday it started leaking coolant out of where looks to be the back of the water pump,
is doing a water pump gasket on these hard or what?
anything i should know or need to get before i start ?
should i replace the water pump while im at it ?

im running the g16b and with the vitara radiator and a 14inch thermo on a thermatic switch it never gets above half way

82 sierra swb was a 1L now with the g16b

my fuel tank is only taking 26L to fill and it starts spitting back out a me after i put about 17 in and i have to go real slow,
there is no visible dints and i cant remember hitting it,

any ideas why my tank has dropped in size??

i pulled that plug off and sure enough it runs like a dream, even when the thermo kicks in and the lights and radio are going still idles great

its got the 1.6 motor and where the motor ended up getting mounted the gearbox is sitting to high

the transfer case has never made a vibration and without the jackshaft in there is no vibrations coming from the gearbox

can the shaft be on to much of an angle ??
would a custom shaft fix this ??

my jack shaft is on a lean down to my transfer case like nearly maxed out, i know this will flog my unis out over time but that doesnt worry me, my concern is at a higher rpm my shaft gets a pretty bad vibration in it, can the shaft be rebalanced to suit the angle that it is on ??
