I had a 75 with a 308 & T400. The only downside was going down hills. Exellent for everything else. Keeping cool was also a problem but radiator on the tray with thermos cured that.

If you can get a hold of some standard height 80 series front springs (4 off) this will give you 4 inches of lift.

I had a holley 2 barrel injection on a 308. It was down a little on performance but at least you new you were going to get up the hill. Too many near misses with both holley and rochester carbies.
