Is this correct? If the 1st car goes back to tow the 2nd car .Would that be 20 points lost to the team. car 1 (5 points for stop) car 2 (15 points, 10 for tow,5 for stop)?

And winching would be 30 points. (5 for stop, 25 for winching)?

Last year on event 4 most people had to winch the whole length of the first hill over multiple obstacles. If you apply the above ruling thats probably going to use allowable every stop.

Don't want to hassle, but the more we can clarify this before driver briefing the better .
The stop rule sounds like a good idea , I would just like to clarify if you wait while your navi packs before you attempt an obstacle is that a stop ?
Or is it only a stop if forward progression is ...

the way we are looking at it is, a stop is if the vehicle fails to maintain forward or reverse momentum AND when ever the cars wheels come to a halt
EXCESSIVE wheelspin that degrades the track will NOT be tollerated

You will find that those competitors that ran last year will have gotten the entries sent out to them the other day , then the entries are released to everyone else 2 weeks later as it has done for the past few years ...

In regards to the rule for next year concerning the roll call needing to be CCDA compliant. I cant find anything about exo cages in the CCDA rules.

Will an Exo built to the same specs be passable? Same as Tuff truck.

Also before i spent a heap of money will it be acceptable in years to come ...

i am with Wicked on this one ....

front profile is what i see if i am standing at the front of the vehicle .... and that includes guards, bonnet and windcreen surround

but can we please get this clarified by the powers to be ....

is the 80% front profile rule counting just the grille & headlights , or are the guards included in that 80% ?
makes a big difference when you look at a zuke / 40 series with a grille / headights that are set narrow & the guards protrude out wide from the headlights , compareds to the likes of a GU ...

i would say that entry forms will be put out to you all around late July early August

I now have maxxis 40s but they measure 39.1

Is the 1 minute penalty for the 40s on the sidewall or are penaltys only for tyres MEASURED over 40 inch?


regardless im bringing these tyres but would like to know if possible.


we have always just taken your tyre size as to whats ...

does anybody have photos or vid of toperi just so i can get an idea of what course is like
