Fuses

I am having problems replacing some fuses in my HJ75 landcruiser. In the fuse panel there are 2 large oval shape 10A and 20A fuses. Does anybody now where I can get these from as I went to the local auto pro and they did'nt know what I was talking about.

I bought the same shackles of that seller about 2 months ago. They are pretty good, and built well. The only thing I have found is the polyutherane is quick squeeky. The best bit I like about them is the nipples are receased so out of harms way.

Reseting leaf springs

The leaves in the cruiser are getting a bit tried, so I have looked at getting a new set, but the $$ have me lloking at restting the old springs. Has anybody had their springs reset. If so what was the cost and was it any good, or was it too harsh, or did it sag.

Will a 78 series bull bar fit a 75 series

As the title says, I am wondering if a 78 series bull bar will fit a 75 series without changing the mounts.

You can start a diesel without glowing, but you will find it is hard to start, and it is'nt any good for your engine/starter. Just turn the key to glow, and wait for the light to go out (you should be able to here the solinoid go click). Then just turn the key and start.

HJ75: I try to rev to 3000rpm just about every gear change and try not to cruise much below 2000rpm. Now and again i'll have a squirt to 3500. In 5th it sits just over 100km/h @ 2100rpm. If i let it lug around town for too long it starts to drive like a pig. -Stu :) Just curious. Why does it start ...

Shadow, my 75 come out with 32, 7.5 splitties, so putting 31 x 10.5 on them is illeagal. just found this. Are you sure wider wheels were not optional? they certainly are on the new 78 series utes (RV spec comes with 31x10.5) if there is a factory fitted optional 31x10.5" tyre, then you can legally ...

I was looking at get my cruiser engineered, but cannot justify the price at the moment. Is it not heavily modded, with lights, body lift and 33's, but none the less under SA law, deemed unroadworthy.
