what do you guys also think about the jeep grand cherokee.. just found out they also are 3500kg tow rated.. hmm disco so far seem to be at the top of the list (with exception of parts etc) then lancruiser 4.2 (td if possible) hmm a bit concerned at the ability of the 2.5L td5 to tow a 3000kg trailer ...

do they achieve this by running higher boost ? has the td5 got electronic ECU controlled boost control? I'd be surprised as not even the nissan 200sx i had has that technology, and all the $1k-$2k electronic boost controls were fairly poor.. if they dont run higher boost i cant see how ypu would get ...

had a look at the navara as well.. its built much stronger then the hilux..
has 3000kg towing capacity!! :) so does the new pathfinder..
pitty cant get them in the 2nd hand market for the 30k mark :(

is there much noticable difference between the new 3.0TD and 4.2TD in terms of drivability? and power on road? in consumption it seems the diff from about 10L / 100km to 15L/100km which seems considerbale.. so am thinking on sticking with the 3Ltd having said that.. another thought would be the 3LTD ...

i was not going to change the diameter of the tyres, as this throws your speedo out of whack (spelt more speeding fines), and also how does insurance deal with it? Is there a "cog" you can change to adjust the speedo's or how do you guys live with the speedo out of whack? Anyone used suzisport parts ...
