I have changed my radiator cap when i put in the new radiator. I still run the rubber on the inner guards, but pissed ther plastic shield off at the bottom. I even changed bars from a custom Aus4wd to a custom F.A.T. bar that alllows more air flow into the front. But as soon as you put it under load ...

Not sure yet. It might have something to do with the front mount cooler, high mount and driving lights as well. Might try and fit a couple ot thermos in between the radiator and the cooler?!
But I thought the new radiator might have compensated for this.

I put a new aussie desert cooler radiator in my 4.2td gu and the thing still over heats. I have replaced the thermostat and put in a new clutch fan as well. The aussie desert coolers dont have any provisions to bolt the fan shroud back on. The bloke over there reckons that you dont need it, but i ...

i have a 8 point Brown davis internal cage in a gu wagon and the front legs go down towards the front of the dash but i havent lost any of the a/c dusts just the the drivers side vent cant move from side to side.

The radiator seams to be fine, and same with the cooler both seam to have good flow thought them. Yeah i put a bonnet scoop in it a while ago,but i might try running two. Over heating problems

I have a gu 4.2td with high flow turbo and aftermarket JPC front mount intercooler and the temp keeps rising when im towing a trailer or caravan to the point that i have to stop and let the motor cool down for 10 or 15 minutes. has anyone had a similer problem and willa new radiator fix the problem?

i would be very interested in both, if you do start making 4"snorkel would it be able to bolt into the same holes as a safari one, as i already have a safari one fitted? And the front mount i have been quoted $1600 from JPC and supply fit and tune, so as long as the quailty is there i'm interested.

15" rims should fit. I ran 2 sets of 15"rims on a 99 TD gu wagon and have had no problem with them.

i've got custom made tube rear bar by sandy (aus4wd). he is about to make me a carrier to weld onto it. i had a kaymar rear bar on my 80 series but the thing was too heavy. :D
