Would love to see a video of this on the dyno

Is that possible? Alot of the 200rwkw setups I have seen smoke their box off.

I paid around $3.50 for my T clamps.
So whats changed with the GTX30 over the GT30 series? Or are they a different family?
Boost response is good compared to a 2876 - But a 2876 isn't really suited to a 4.2 diesel at all is it? Trim wise?

Purpose of a screamer pipe is to stop waste gate gasses mixing with exhaust gas exiting the exhaust wheel - This allows for better flow as the 2 gasses don't clash.
Unless you have eleventy six billion horsepower, I wouldn't bother.

Unless you mod the compensator spring, 75rwkw is all you will get.

Sorry, I think you are confused - I was referring to an SD33T - Not a TD42T (silver or black top)
Some guys have had problems with teh SD33T breaking cranks. SD33T stock turbos really heat up the oil which I think contributes to it breaking down. If too thinner oil is used it isnt providing enough ...

Thoughts KiwiBacon?
Looks quite good. Torque figures are about what they should be so no-one is playing silly-buggers with the dyno settings. Those SD33's must breathe quite well to provide 118kw on 15psi, it looks to do better at higher rpm than I expected.

Have you offered them stock on consignment?
Might help if you havn't already. It would make it much easier for our local shops to sell and promote a product they have on the shelf.

Took a few hours off today and went to see Matt at United Fuel - I had a few ideas for things to try with the injector pump and the boost compensator.
So we did a few runs on the dyno, adjusting no boost fuel. Learn a few things about how the compensator works and the travel available in the rack ...

224rwkw - Damn!
That must be a fukton of fuel you are running! What are your EGT's like? Does it smoke lots? Are you running an aneroid?
224rwkw from a stock DTS turbo kit - I thought those turbos were only good for 140rwkw or so...or is it a custom job?
Do you have any problems blowing ...

I take my SD33T to 550 degrees. Running 16psi boost.
The EGT's on a factory SD33T see 650+ quite often.
Is your air filter clean? An intake restriction can result in higher than normal EGT's.

New turbo is here:
Here are some photos:
Shows my new inline oil filter with 85 micron filter - Nothing is getting through this sucker.
Also picked up a 4-7psi Facet electronic fuel pump.
As the rear seal is much like piston rings, the coked oil has pretty much made the ring stick thus causing the ...
