On Simpson trips I have needed;
Fuel line and clamps, to repair the steel fuel and return lines being damaged by an errant rock thrown up by the front wheels.
Brake fluid, min. 2 litres for same incident above, also piercing brake line.
Instant metal putty stuff, to repair chassis mounted stainless ...

I would build them yourself, or have someone else build them to your specs.
Bought drawers are not without their faults.
I have had outback and black widow and if I did it again I would go the black widow, as you can move them from model to model, without replacing the main unit, just the wings and ...

to afford a 98 2.8td Gu Patrol Wagon.
How much do you think you can get a 2.8 GU for ?
Comparing a GU to a hilux is like comparing apples with oranges.
I agree with Yom on nearly all fronts.
You are probably going to get a biased opinion here in the Nissan area, and most on here are into ...

Re: Boost gauge
If it is the nylon type tubing ( like semi flexible plastic)
Cut it where you want. just make sure you can re-use whichever kind of fittings you have
In some, the brass "olive" which creates the seal inside the fitting crushes to seal to the tubing, making them a single use item.
